My name is Lili Amann, full name Ludmila Lilian Jaeger Amann (Lady of Glencairn) and I am a person of many interests. Lot of my time is dedicated to a painting, creating small statues and masks, which can bee seen in my frequent exhibitions in Germany and Czech republic . Some of them you will find on my homepage. My art teachers was Japanese sculptor Naotaka Naganuma. In seminars with the Austrian artist Sonya Scheer I have learned about the ceramic and pottery. The magic of light and shadow in aquarelle technique was shown to me during the seminar with American painter Kathy Kornpropst.

Writing is also one of my interests. The topic of my literature are Moravian old Legends (written in the Czech language), short stories, poetry and travelling features. I am interested in Hana (part of Moravia) cultural inheritance, which I consider as important part of Moravian national identification. I am working with a Moravian journalist on reviving old traditions and the almost forgotten Hana dialect.

I was born in Brno, Czech republic and my roots are deep in Moravian country. Destiny brought me to many places of the world and now I am living almost 20 years in Germany. I love coming back to visit my country and one day I might stay forever.

Except writing down my impression on my travelling I am taking lots of photos. My specialty around the world is taking pictures of hydrants and canals. You can find rather nice collection of them on my page.

I love to be close to animals, especially in the nature. I can feel the positive energy which is transmitted from them to me.

The great deal of my interest represents human behaviour. I like to watch cultural differences in the interpersonal communication on the verbal and nonverbal level.

During the time I have noticed many sayings in English language concerning the human body. I decided to collect them and after almost 5 years I have finished a small book which is now waiting for a publisher. It will be useful for everybody who wants to seriously study the English language and wish to understand also what sounds almost “not understandable” as for example: “John got the cold feet and wanted to leg it, knowing that he is hanging on the skin of his teeth…”

What my profession concerns I got master degree in psychology. I have studied on University in Bratislava and continued in the subject on University in Bonn and Cologne in Germany and was later working in the psychological praxis. Currently I am giving psychological seminars about the Body language and Nonverbal communication in German town Stuttgart.
